Three type styles against four headline lengths, in two widths of hero column. A headline holds if it sets in three lines or fewer.

Goal:

Display type looks right on a two word placeholder.
I wanted to know how long a hero headline can run before it stops working.

What it showed:

• At 8 columns, Display 2 and Display 3 hold eight words in three lines.

• Thirteen words runs to six lines in Display 2 and five in Display 3, and Heading 1 stays at two.

• At 12 columns, Display 3 takes all thirteen in three.
